MJ/MONTEER Series (with Battery) Light Fault Detection
Please follow these steps to help determine the problem.
- Disconnect the battery from the light and fully charge the battery. Once charged, press the battery's power switch; if the battery indicator light is flashing, the battery is good.Our batteries include a self-protection circuit for the safety of our customers. If a battery receives an external charge, it may passively trigger the self-protection function and power off the battery.
If this is not the problem, continue troubleshooting to determine if the problem is with the connection cable or the light head. - Inspect the connection cable to ensure there is no damage to the cable. Then connect the battery cable to the battery and the light head. Press the battery test button and if the green LEDs flash but the power switch on the light head does not illuminate, the connector cable may be the problem.
- If a fully charged battery with normally functioning test LEDs is connected to the light head, but the light head does not have power, the light head is most likely the problem. Wiggle the connector cable at the light head and the battery to see if there is a connector problem, indicating a problem with the connector cable.
Use it on both of my bikes, love everything about it, mount is solid, makes daylight in front of u! Easy to charge the power bank with usb C cable, love the power bank but can also connect it to e mtb directly with MS bosch cable! Very flexible! Great Product at reasonable price. The delivery wait from China was very long though (worth the wait), was under the impression that the products would ship from Canada with the .ca website address.
The 4500 Lumen light with the bigger size battery is the best option for mountainbiking. Small in size for mouting on your helmet. Buy two of those instead of one big ligth.
Ordered both a mj-902s and a 906s, great lights but I can’t see a notable difference for the 906S model. Besides the bigger battery included 906s has same or similar light output has 902s.
Lights are well made and compact.
Had a failing cable in the first order but they quickly sent a replacement.
This is the perfect light for night riding. It now is on my helmet for better sighting. The battery life is fantastic.

Lights good, battery's good, good mount options... BUT this winter I've had 3 magishine lights fail, where they short the battery... It get very dark and very dangrous when this happen, I've had 2 replaced under warranty this is a major problem with these lights.

I've used MagicShine lights since 2011 for weekly night rides and 24 hour races. Today's bright lights are amazing and my original lights are still used regularly -- the batteries are even still going strong.

Great light for night riding in the woods. Battery straps on nice and secure. Had an issue with the mount but Magicshine replaced it with no issues. Great customer service.

I was looking for a bike light with a huge battery and this was exactly it. It's bright and will last all night at a bike park session on the brightest setting. The battery conveniently fits right by the seat post. No complaints so far.

BRIGHT AND EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED. THE STRAPS FOR THE LIGHT COULD BE A LITTLE SMALLER AND TIGHT, I MAKE ADJUSTMENTS TO THE LIGHT OFTEN AS IT WILL NOT FIT SNUGG.
Battery life extremely good in orienteering use. Only downside is that the cable is a bit stiff near the lamp.

Super bright lighting coupled with long run time = awesome night rides!
Happy with the product but the communication through the ordering process and tracking left a lot to be desired. There was no tracking number that eas useable and trying to communicate with customer service was pitiful
Really bright illumination but light enough for a helmet mount. I usually run it in the low or medium setting and flip to high for downhill. Battery is pretty big but with an extension cord it fits in a jersey/jacket/pack pocket with no problem. I haven't come close to running out a charge in 2.5 hour rides.
best light out there. It fits on Garmin bike mounts, making it the most convenient night time option on the market for me.
